Mar 15, 2006 Light amber, not completely clear with long lasting head. Dark berry aroma with piney undertones. Robust fruity flavor that turns to a rich (but a bit too sweet for me) malt and finishes with a piney bite. Pretty complex for an IPA. Smooth.

Jul 18, 2007 (355 ml bottle at Karlson’s Garage & Bar, Göteborg) Labeled 4.7% ABV, which seems very very low for an IPA. Clear golden color, big fluffy orange head. Sweet and citrucy hoppy scent. Also vanilla and milk, blood-oranges smell. Very bitter taste, no way it’s only 36 IBU! Grape aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, big bitterness.

Aug 11, 2007 Updated: Mar 1, 2008Orange with a bubbly white head. Piney, grape, grassy, flowery, soapy hop aroma and taste. Very dry bitter & light bodied. Pleasant and drinkable - but not excellent! Could need a malty background! Tasted 2nd time feb 08. Deserved a higher rating 3,5 - 3,7.

Aug 14, 2007 Smells pleasantly citrusy. Has a wonderful golden color. Very distinctive flavor, sort of sour banana, not a bad thing, just different.

Sep 16, 2007 Nice IPA. Pours light orange with moderate head. Aroma nice but not too telling. Smooth bitter with nice hop flavors. Finishes with mild sweetness.

Apr 25, 2008 Bottle. Came in a variety pack of other Flying Dog brews. Pours a brilliant amber white head that uncharacteristically for a Flying Dog stuck around. Strong hop aromas and flavore. But this IPA is somewhat tempered and while earthy in its hop aftertaste, it didnt put me off the style like other over hopped IPA. My 2nd favorite of the 12pk.

Sep 1, 2007 on draft at RJ Gators in Vero Beach, FL. Nice IPA with aromas of citrus and hops. Finish is a bit lacking but above average IPA that is always good to drink.
