A lot of IPAs are too carbonated for my taste, but this one was just right. cewldre (268), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Pours a very clear golden color with a small white, quickly diminishing head. Smells of hops galore. Tastes sweet, grapefruity and awesome. This IPA is delicious. The bitterness is there, though not as powerfully bitter as others I have tried. I really enjoyed this Flying Dog and will gladly have another. taffurs888 (121), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Very floral, great hop after taste. Pours a golden brown slight head. Great aroma, bonquet(pun intended) of aroma. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2006 Bottle. Crisp but not harsh with a floral, hoppy aroma. This IPA is quite simple. Pale malt, hops, dry hops, no frills at all. Honey textured palate with a comfortably bitter finish. Thus we have a clean, drinkable, refreshingly bitter and and flavorful brew that is hardly challenging...perfect to drink after, say, a difficult night at work, etc.
