| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Copper pour with a 1 finger white head and some nice lacing. Great pine and floral aroma with earthy malt and some tropical fruit notes. Lots of bitter pine flavor upfront with a balance of topical fruit and sweet chewy malts in the finish. Medium body with a nice creaminess to it. I’ve gotten to be a little jaded after drinking so many ipa’s lately but this stands out. Lots of great hop character without going over the top for the style. Blom (514), Odense, Denmark

Impressive perfumed aroma of heated soil, citrus, orange, grape and lemon. The flavour is somewhat near perfection and it peaks in a manner that makes me go all jubilant. It is initially bitter, which expands into a brief sweetness, and quicly transcendsinto bitterness again. Yummy!

Mainly a grapefruit taste, much like the rest of the strong IPAs in the world. I don’t what pine tastes like or raisins smell like. I just know this was a damn good beer. lalu (12), Morin Heights, Quebec, Canada

Lovely amber color, small short lasting head.
Nice lacing on the glass.
Awesome flavor, very true to the style.
Hops slighly overpower the malt but that is how i like IPA.
Fruity floral hops like they say in the description.Ranks among the best IPA in my books. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
