| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Appearance: Pours a light golden color with an off-white head.
Smell: Toasty caramel malt aroma with sugar, yeast and a hint of wood and a mixture of spices.
Taste: Zingy hop flavor with a significant citric character, but less so than many others. It is an enjoyable tasty flavor that is a bit more approachable than bigger IPAs; I guess you could pretty much describe this beer as moderate all the way around.
Mouthfeel: Light but tingly. Decent.
Drinkability: There are no big fireworks with this beer but it is easy drinking.
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!
