Good floral hop aroma with grapefruity notes. Nice bitter taste, kinda chewy hop flavor. Finish is dry and a slightly bitter. I’ve had worse from this brewery. celluloiddroid (25), Hebron, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2004 Looked good, very pale, nice white head, the aroma was mainly citrus. Did that make it stand out as a beer? Not really. Not an oustanding IPA. Cornfield (4975), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

Has a dark orange color with a quickly dissipating white head and carries a floral & citric hop aroma. Not as bitter in the buds as I prefer. Fairly balanced, and in IPAs, I look for the hops to win seriously. Okay.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2008 Bottle. I am a little confused. Is this the new or old version. it is 4.7 ABV and 36 IBU so none of the desciption on ratebeer matches. BB 03.08.
Creamy white excellent mostly lasting head. Orange-yellow colour. Light malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Flowers and herbs present. Harsh bitter flavor. Long harsh bitter finish. Creamy palate. Not my style but nice. AmEricanbrew (1946), orange, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2008 Pours a clear copper color with an ample white head. Sweet smell of apricots, grapefruit, bubblegum. Loads of carbonation with a medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Mostly sweet malt taste with an herbal hop taste here.
Pretty unique flavor for a pale ale, more in the English style.
I’ll buy this again anders37 (4792), Malmö, Sweden

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 7, 2006 Bottled. Amber coloured, small white head. Strong flowery hoppy nose with weak hints of leather. Strong flowery, kind of sweetish, hoppy flavour. True to it’s style and pleasantly balanced, but still nothing to go "weeeeee" for.
