Poured a cloudy orange with a rather weak off-white head. Very clean and ballanced, with nice hop balance. This is a beer I might buy again.

Rarely am I surprised by a beer, this one did just that. Poured into my Stone IPA glass this beer immediately starts to form a massive head and I have to stop the pour at 8 oz. so that I don’t spill over. Head diminishes at a rate of an inch a minute leaving behind the densest lacing I have ever seen. The glass looked like I had been drinking a milkshake! Which aptly describes this head. Can you say frothy and creamy. Enough of the looks what about the taste of this beer. This brewery has left me sadly disappointed in many ways in the past, but not this time. The biscuity flavor of the MO malt plays quite nicely with the Goldings hops. Clearly dry-hopped with a foreboding "C" hop. The only place I was let down was in the palate, a bit more mouthfeel and lasting presence would have been good. Excellent example of a traditional English IPA.

While not as strong (alcohol) as I would expect from most IPAs, this beer is pretty good. Upon finishing a six pack, I came out of it liking it much more than when I started! The hop aroma is fresh and citrusy. Fairly dry with subtle caramel flavors. This makes a good beer for everyday use.

A brilliant pour that was amber with some medium head. The aroma could be smelled across the room (not really but my partner detests hoppy ales and she was decrying my choice from the far side of the couch). The dry hopping really supports this ale and demands that the drinker dive right in. The aroma carried elements of citrus and earthiness. The flavour is insurmountable...equal parts hop bitterness and malt sweetness form to provide a range from fruit (berry, apple, pear) to Golding bitterness. Solid beer!

A large, off-white head settles rocky over a bright, golden/orange body. Juicy hop aromas are lemon & pine, rather sweet with a touch of spicy rye and a general feeling of powdered instant tea. Flavor is a cozy melange of sweet, sour and bitter and the whole of it is balanced and well-tempered by malts. There is a touch of nuttiness to a base of bitter tea before a finish that is bitter and citric. Light stickiness and mid-bodied weight. This is the kind of IPA that I could drink all day.

The color is incredibly nice, warm amber and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma is lovely, aromatic and fruity hoppy and the flavour has light notes of caramel, lots of aromatic hops, fruity citrus, mostly grapefruit, light hints of resin and a nice bitterness, that develops slightly dry in the long finish! A really nice IPA!! 2449
