Juicy hop aromas are lemon & pine, rather sweet with a touch of spicy rye and a general feeling of powdered instant tea. Flavor is a cozy melange of sweet, sour and bitter and the whole of it is balanced and well-tempered by malts. There is a touch of nuttiness to a base of bitter tea before a finish that is bitter and citric. Light stickiness and mid-bodied weight. This is the kind of IPA that I could drink all day.

The aroma is lovely, aromatic and fruity hoppy and the flavour has light notes of caramel, lots of aromatic hops, fruity citrus, mostly grapefruit, light hints of resin and a nice bitterness, that develops slightly dry in the long finish! A really nice IPA!! 2449

Aroma of herbal and floral hops, notes of straw, mint, alcohol and yeast. Heavily dry-hopped, the hops dominate the taste, the malt doesn’t add much. Almost medicinal. Strong bitter long finish. Mouthfeel is appropriate, neither overly viscuous nor too effervescent.
NOTE: The current description on the Flying Dog website says crystal malt, not English Marris Otter. jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

It reminded me a lot of Rogue’s St. Rogue Red. TET (245), Finland
