Pours medium gold with thin quick head. Aroma is grainy, grassy and damp hay. Flavour persists with the earthy hay and a light maltiness, light grassy bitterness to the finish. Not too bad once I got by the wet hay tones. I didn’t realize it was a kolsch until now but it fits.

The color is a golden yellow with a diminishing white head. The aroma is a slight grain. The flavor is pretty non-descript, probably not bad compared to a macro.

Pale gold color with a decent head. Smell is slightly fruity and hoppy. Lager typical smell with a light malty taste. Not that impressive my least favorite Flying Dog beer.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin short lived head, over a clear yellow body....nose is very light with mild hops....taste is mild, with slight malts, bit of corn chip flavors ending with mild hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and somewhat watery. I think this is a little unbalanced to be true to the style, and overall seems to go towards the Euro lager type.

Bottle. Pours light gold with a fizzy, feeble head. Aroma of soft hops, and perhaps sweet corn. Flavor is somewhat bland, a mixture of pale malt, soft citrus, and a grassy finish. Wasn’t impressed, but at the same time, it wasn’t terrible.

Light aroma of sweet malts. Flavor was also very light, mainly sweet malts, caramel, and slight hops and alcohol in the finish.

Golden blonde pour into white foamy head that dissappears quickly. Melting lacings keep a small thin ring of bubbles at the top of the glass. A few carbonated bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass. Aroma of malty grain. Initial flavor of sweet malt fading into bitter piney hoppiness.
