am i drinking beer or some cellar secret champagne step-sibling? where’s the bride and groom? the new year’s ball drop? the prom dress and chauffered limo? i am new to the kolsch. the tire bite marks my first foray into this german classic celebration ale. and i love it. tire bite is excellent hot weather, river rafting, lawn mowing, hammock swinging, weed pulling, mountain biking, rock climbing, car chasing, tire biting beverage designed to celebrate the sunnier moments in life. bright lager golden ale wafts a grassy, grainy, dry hay aroma. full bodied mouthfeel showcases the struggling prominence of bitterness and subtlety. ucusty, four reviews down, questions the validity of this beer as a true kolsch, due to being "far too hoppy." if that’s the case, i may stick with this version for life. i mean, really, who needs champagne?
