Pours golden yellow with a white head. A little sweetness in the aroma, also lite hops. Tastes like a lager in many ways with only the slightest fruit esters. No hop flavor to speak of. Very light bodied with a slight bite to finish. Overall very drinkable, but poor in the flavor department.

Golden color, fruit and malt aromas. Tasted slightly sweet with very light hops. Crisp finish. Goes down very easy. Did not wow me at all. I’d drink this again but it would not be on the top of my list

Bottle at Solvang, CA. I would’ve never guessed this is a kölsch (is it really?). Sweet and malty. Something candyish in there and smooth carb. It’s good, but is it kölsch?

Tire Bite does not have much bite, more like a gummy gnaw.....actually was disappointed, expected much more out of this brew from Flying Dog. I had never tried a Kolsch golden ale, reminds me of Lowenbrasu with some Belgain style yeast. The yeast flavor comes right off the first sip, but then the beer turns into a mild, clean tasting brew. Oh don’t get me wrong, I think this is seriosuly easy drinking stuff and overall not bad, but not what I expected. It lacks depth.

Golden color with foamy head. malt aroma with slight hops. Sweet malty taste with slight hops at end. Usually I don’t enjoy golden ale but this one was suprised me.

bottle poured a light golden in color with light carbination and a thin layer of head on the beer. smell is dry champagne and malt both being on the light side. taste is thin on the body, has a slightly metallic flavor, but is just a little bland. guess it is a golden ale but not one i will seek out again.

Golden pour. Aroma of light malt with small amt of hops. Mouth is thin with a yeasty, malty taste. Not exceptional.
