This light yellow beer poured with a thin white head. I’m not sure how this beer won any awards, since it is a modiocre example of kolsch. The flavor is crisp with some lemon and a chalky slightly bitter finish.

Aug 17, 2008 Bottle. Mostly clear golden yellow with a tiny creamy white head. Aroma of light sweet malt, wheat, and a little alcohol. Flavor is sweet with a clean aftertaste that wasn’t bad.

Aug 16, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with bubbly white head that fades fast. Nose is grains, light hops and some lemon. Taste is malt, grain and light hops with a citrusy dry finish. Light mouth feel.

Aug 14, 2008 Another underwhelming brew from Flying Dog. Unrecognizable as a Kolsch, full of stale malts. Almost tastes like a gluten-free beer. Total drain pour. Flying dog needs to stick to the big beers.
