| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 17, 2007 Damn that was a tight cork. Had to get the channel locks out for this one. Large fluffy white head of fine bubbles with some excellent carbonation that keeps a nice thin wisp of head on my goblet. Light and fruity aroma with spices and dry yeastiness. Some pears and oranges along with a bit of corriander. Quite enticing. Makes the mouth salivate. Color is a bright golden orange. Fizzy in the mouth with some more oranges, white grape, spices (pepper) and some dry grass. Pretty good representation of the style. Little bit of sweetness from the honey makes it quite smooth. Finished slightly bitter and tart. A decent saison. Kevin (1918), Colorado, USA
