Clear and light amber coloring. Wheat flavors predominate. Thick and hearty in the mouth. Seems to be a cross between a weak Belgian golden ale and a German wheat beer, neither of which are my favorite styles.

Mar. 2007 - Beer pours pale yellow with decent head and lacing. Heavy grass and barnyard aroma. Very nice blend of barnyard funk, spices, and fruity sweet goodness. Surprisingly good!

This was a weird one - a lot of component make the flavor, but they don’t neccessarily mesh that well. Very perfumey and woodsy, with notes of juniper and pineapple and bubleguma nd banana and - well you get the idea. Certainly a throw everything in approach. It may not wrk perfectly, but still a pretty tasty saison and one I’d buy again.

Bottle. Poured a clear light orange color. Head was off white and left some lace behind. Aroma was of yeasty bread dough, subdued spices, and citrus. Although delicate, I definitely tasted the 7.3% alcohol. There was also some soft orange and white bread. Slightly sweet in the middle with dry graininess on either end. Pretty good stuff.

first beer of the night (or should I say hour?) for me at the tasting at joeys house. Pours chunky orange with a thin white head. Fruity aroma, slight funk. Flavor was funky, sweet. Citrus fruits are mixed in, as well as a bit of hops and peppery. Finishes a tad bitter, decent carbonation. Good!

Thanks for sharing, general_gao. The body was hazy gold with a white head. The aroma was funky and grassy with some cinnamon. There was also some glazed donut. The taste was spicy cinnamon rolls with some plantain balance. I was pleasantly surprised with this interesting and easy drinking brew.

[989-20071215] Bottle (c/o DuctTape, w/ him, jerc). Plastic mild hops aroma has a hint of orange pips. Hazy, medium orange body with a quick off-white head. Mild lightly seasoned hops flavour has weird boozy characteristics and some grainy wheat notes. Medium body is a little gravelly. Interesting to try.

Highly filtered beer - big bubbles and not much of a head. Strawberry blonde in color. I like the aroma, actually. It is somewhat fruity and is pretty complex with spices and slightly sweet malts. The flavor isn’t as impressive. It has a bitterness like rotten fruit. The finish is also quite bitter.
