Draught at Jydske Øldage 2009. Frothy off-white fair mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty rauch aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Strong smoked notes and no chocolate. Average heavy bitter finish. Oily palate.

On tap at Beer Temple. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of smoke, roasted malts and some sweetness. Flavour is roasted malts, smoke, caramel, bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Very nice beer, appeared to me as a schwarz with a firm hop bitterness.

Tap @ Ølfestival, Esbjerg, 2009.
Pours opaque black with a small, frothy, off-white head. Disappears rather quickly. Soft aroma, lovely chocolate, lightly roasted and just a tad of smoke. High carbonation, light and dry mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of smoke, roasted malts, light chocolate. Feels a tad grainy. Fisish has lots of nice hops and roasted dryness. Fine.
