Poured a dark brown with large foamy head that falls with mild traces on the glass. Very complex flavor, manly bananaish, but other fruity flavors as well. I can’t taste the clove. Much higher price tag than worth it, but great brew none the less.

Pours cloudy, murky and brown like raw sewage out of a rusty faucet. Wispy white bubbly head that reduces itself to almost nothing. Rich sweet toasted cereal maltiness, with a bit of banana puree, and just a hint of spicy clove. Has a bit of a metallic copper penny flavor that is somewhat off kilter and acidic. Still I am very glad I got to try this. Thanks SoLan!

Bottle: Brown pour with a decent light tan head. Aroma had some wheat, cloves, and banana. Tastes kinda like wheat bread, some banana come in slightly. Nothing special, but I did find it for cheaper than what I thought.

Bottle: Brownish caramel, moderate foamy sandy head, falls quickly, spotty lacing.   Nose of wheat bread, slight banana and clove, even a touch of citrus rind and alcohol.   Bready start, slightly spritzy and sweet, yielding very soft banana and clove character.   As it warms, it loses a bit of character and becomes a bready alcoholic mix.   Moderate to full body, mouthfeel is fairly moderate.   Finishes with very subtle banana/clove, but mainly an alcoholic yeasty/bready mix.   Meh, decent, but priced steep for a fairly mediocre brew.   Thanks Larry for the opportunity to try this one!

Pours to a nice red-brown body with a very nice dense beige head. Excellent lacing. The aroma is sweet wheat, bananas, clove, spices. The flavor is banana’s foster, spicy hops, interesting yeasts, cloves, spices, light soap. The palate is medium-full bodied, very chewy, good mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Unfortunate price point.

750. Pours a brown-crimson, mostly clear with a thin creamy head. Aroma is strong bananna esters, malty sweetness, light alcohol. Taste is big citrus, mainly bananna again. Balanced sweetness. Finish brings in some nice earthy hops and spices, along with a candi sugar sweetness. Mouthfeel was a little weak for a "big" beer. Ok stuff, kinda one diminsional.

Draft at Blake St. Tavern. Served in 8 oz. glass. Very cloudy darkish brown. Not much head, thin layer of foam, nice lacing. Spicy aroma, definitely smells like a wheat beer. Very good, spicy, fruity, wheat beer flavor. Very mellow and easy drinking for 8-8.5%. Had to pace myself as it went down nicely. Medium, almost creamy mouthfeel. Interesting beer and style, I really enjoyed it.
