The flavor is very sweet and very wheaty, and also with strong fruity notes, leading to a dry wheaty end. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2005 Spectacular off-white head breaks into laces over laces over the murky brownish amber shade. Fully phenolic nose, heavy on the bananas, definitely fruity yeastiness, medicinal, figgy and even meaty. Limited malt complexity, caramelic, but not much else. Medium body, foamy palate remains quite sweet, yet there’s a good dose of spicy bitterness. Not bad!
