| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 15, 2008 Bottle. Hazy, white/orange pour with little head. Similar appearance to grapefruit juice. Faint aroma of wheat, belgian yeast and coriander. Similar flavor with some definite orange peel in there. Alright beer. Just nothing too impressive. beerbill (1954), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 14, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a moderate white head that leasted until mid-glass and left a light coating after each sip. Aroma is mostly dominated by wheat, with a few whisps of lemon and coriander. The flavor is very similar with the sweet lemon having a bit more of a presence. A decent wit. 17thfloor (1484), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 14, 2008 Pours a glowing murky yellow with a medium sudsy white foam. Love the aroma on this, spicy, lots of coriander, light orange, wheat makes it thru, vanilla... makes it smell a little bit woody and sour. Fantastic flavors, strong and forward, yet balanced. Perfect amount of spice overtop a background of sweet wheat and light orange, hint of sour yogurt. Where this beer really gets its character from is the sour tartness that emerges, it almost tastes like it was blended with an oak aged sour wit. Great mouthful, similar to Hoegaarden but with a little fuller body. Very crisp sizzling carbonation, medium/light. I don’t know if its better now that its brewed in Maryland... but this is an All-star and a great example of a Belgian White. Goblincat (357), Westland, Michigan, USA

The taste is lemon, wheat, orange, grass, and spice, all with a carbonized bite. It comes off as a pretty nice mix and is quite enjoyable. jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Yellow colored beer with a light haze to it. Thin white head. Nose has a light citrus and spice note to it. Flavors of lemon peel, corriander and yeast. Not the best white, but a decent summer quencher. kiefdog (1605), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2008 12oz bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy, bright yellow with a one-finger frothy white head that settles slowly. Aroma is heavily bready, wheaty, yeasty with notes of clove, spice, straw and grass. Not much else there. Flavor is similar with a few citrus notes coming through in addition to the bread, yeast and straw. Lively carbonation (maybe just a little too much) with a light to medium body and quick finish. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2008 12oz. bottle. Aroma quickly fills the nose with coriander, also showing a strong citrus character of lemon and orange, along with lighter notes of wheat and pale malt, sugary sweetness, floral perfume and doughy yeast. Cloudy straw yellow in color with a lasting, fine head. Flavor is citric and spicy, gently tart, grainy and semi-dry with a very gentle bitterness at the finish, more lemon here and showing some lingering clove and coriander. Palate is lightly thin and airy, body is fairly insubstantial as well. Pretty heavy on the spices, but managing to remain nice and refreshing. texasbartender (160), Sugarland, Texas, USA
