| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 9, 2007 Bottle: Very pale yellow, hazy, just about the same color as Hoegaarden... meaning nearly white, thin sudsy white head, dies quickly,
spotty lacing.   Soft citrus and coriander on the nose.   Even softer wheat malts are present.   A bit duller on the tongue, not
as sharp as I would have liked.   Clean on the exit, but does come across as a little mealy.   Some lingering citrus notes.
Pretty fair Belgian Wit.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Not bad, bout what I expected for an American made version.
Thanks to Crosling for splitting up a 6er for me!!!

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Bottle from Crown Liquors #15 in Fishers, IN. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a frothy white head that reduces to a thin skin and leaves patchy lace in its wake. The aroma is a dusty wheat with a solid coriander note and a lesser note of orange peel in the background. Light-bodied and thin with a crisp, dry finish. The flavor is a solid wheat front with a nice blend of coriander and orange peel. Very drinkable and one of the better wits that I’ve tried. It would be nice if FD would add this to their lists of beers distributed in KS &/or MO. Heathen (810), Riverside, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2007 THOUGHTS: Not a huge fan of Flying Dog, but I really enjoyed this one. A nice wit.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a slightly cloudy, light to medium yellow with a small to average, sudsy, white head that got thinner then thicker again. There was tons and tons of carbonation. The aroma was of moderate lemon, moderate to heavy yeast, some coriander and wheat. The initial flavor was lightly acidic, while the finish was lightly sweet and sour. The dominant flavors were wheat and lemon. The light body was dry and slightly watery with fizzy carbonation and a chalky and moderately astringent finish. zach8270 (2138), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is very spicy with a lot of wheat, coriander, and orange peel. Flavor begins watery and metallic with the lightest hint of wheat. Orange peel and coriander not present. Flavor is just absent. Taste of the same with the banana and yeast being very prominent. Nice tasting wit. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Bottle. Pours a bright, yellow, hazy body with a small white creamy head. Refreshingly pleasing aroma consisting of large doses of citric twang and doughy yeast.
Superb lemon tartness and bitter rind. Bread and wheat backing with some doughy sweetness in the background. Quite pleasant and immensely refreshing. FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Pours with a brilliantly clear, gold color and is topped by a pale, one finger thick head. The beer is very aromatic with ample orange zest notes and some earthy coriander spice. The coriander note is slightly green / vegetal, but is not really a bad thing.
The beer is well carbonated and is quite dry tasting up front. It picks up some sweetness as the beer moves across the tongue and this tends to accentuate the orange peel contributed citrus flavors. There is a touch of coriander here in the flavor, though not nearly as much as the aroma would have suggested (this is fine by me, as I like a restrained coriander note in Wits). This is certainly a tasty example of a Wit, but it is a bit too simplistic for me. This pairs fairly well with food, which makes it seem more lemon-like and drier. unclemattie (2446), Georgia, USA
