Aug 3, 2009 A cloudy pale yellow color. Lots of carbonation. Minimal head, but has specks of yellow floating on top. A spicy Belgian (tripel) style initial aroma, followed by a grounded wheaty base with hints of orange and lemon. Complex and balanced. The initial spicy Belgian taste is of cloves and cinnamon. Some hefe-y banana. A nice wit flavor covered up by some banana/clove. Just a hint of mild bubblegum. A tad too cloying for a wit. And I detect some pineapple. A thick and milky feel, with lots of body. Much thicker than a regular wit. Definitely more like a hefe than a wit. A tad misleading but a hearty, drinkable brew. Not very summery though, I must admit.

Jul 30, 2009 Pours a slighty hazy straw color body with a fadin, white head. SMells of yeast, zest, and clove. Flavor is the same. Decent finish. Better than average and a great label.

Pours muddy yellow with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is citric, sweet wheat, grapefruit and lemon peel. Prickly, yet low carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, citric, some grapefruit and coriander. A good, solid witbier.

Jul 27, 2009 Incredible. On the bottle there is a quote by Hunter S. Thompson, "Good people drink good beer" And wow is this a good beer. Aroma of citrus and some spices. Flavour is grainy and citrussy. Some coriander and orange are prevalent. Overall, good, but could be better. I will drink this again.
