Not great, not terrible, just... a wit. Cool art on the bottle, as per usge for Flying Dog. williamherbert (466), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 3, 2009 A cloudy pale yellow color. Lots of carbonation. Minimal head, but has specks of yellow floating on top. A spicy Belgian (tripel) style initial aroma, followed by a grounded wheaty base with hints of orange and lemon. Complex and balanced. The initial spicy Belgian taste is of cloves and cinnamon. Some hefe-y banana. A nice wit flavor covered up by some banana/clove. Just a hint of mild bubblegum. A tad too cloying for a wit. And I detect some pineapple. A thick and milky feel, with lots of body. Much thicker than a regular wit. Definitely more like a hefe than a wit. A tad misleading but a hearty, drinkable brew. Not very summery though, I must admit. Magicdave6 (5500), London, Greater London, England

SMells of yeast, zest, and clove. Flavor is the same. Decent finish. Better than average and a great label. thewolf (5744), Kolding, Denmark

Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield.
Pours muddy yellow with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is citric, sweet wheat, grapefruit and lemon peel. Prickly, yet low carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, citric, some grapefruit and coriander. A good, solid witbier. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 29, 2009 Hazy yellow in color with a small white head. Aroma is heavy in wheat with hints of citrus and spices. Taste is of wheat, grain and orange peel. larsga (2959), Oslo, Norway
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Medium white head. Muddy pale yellow body. Muddy yeasty aroma with citric notes. Sweetish fruity grassy citric taste with lemony notes. Medium body. Dry toffeeish grassy yeasty aftertaste. Decent, but boring and lacking in character. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Incredible. On the bottle there is a quote by Hunter S. Thompson, "Good people drink good beer" And wow is this a good beer. Aroma of citrus and some spices. Flavour is grainy and citrussy. Some coriander and orange are prevalent. Overall, good, but could be better. I will drink this again.
