beerbill (1243), Laurel, New York, USA Jul 14, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a moderate white head that leasted until mid-glass and left a light coating after each sip. Aroma is mostly dominated by wheat, with a few whisps of lemon and coriander. The flavor is very similar with the sweet lemon having a bit more of a presence. A decent wit.
alraicercsu (70), Ft.Collins, Colorado, USA Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is spicey, and yeasty. Tastes of lemon and sweet. Preaty good. KAggie97 (1884), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Aug 18, 2008 Bottle at Flying Saucer, Houston, post jury duty. Thanks, Harris County! Pours a cloudy cheddar yellow with a slight white head and an aroma of spicy sweet cedar chips and butter. Flavor is lemon peel, coriander, lemon grass, and Sweet-N-Low. Average mouthfeel that leaves a slightly upleasant bitter film on the tongue. Refreshing beer, even if it’s dedicated to a bunch of friggin’ hippies. BeerFanDan17 (359), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2008 Classic style wheat. Unfiltered, but smooth. Rich cereal and yeasty tones. Not bad. Skyview (2768), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Aug 13, 2008 Sampled at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits Wednesday evening beer tasting. Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a fine white ring. Aroma coriander, golden grain malt, some yeast and cloves. Taste is heavy on the coriander, light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, lemon zest and cloves. Finish continues a dry coriander aftertaste that lingers after the finish. Hance07 (176), DownSouth, Georgia, USA Aug 10, 2008 Pours hazy orange with good sized white head. Aroma is cloves and spice. Flavor is crisp citrus and spice. Not a big fan of belgian whites but this one is pretty good.
