On draft at Capone’s. Pours a slightly hazy orange apricot color with no head. Aroma of apple juice, vinegar and light wood. Taste of apple juice mixed with oak wood. Watery, weak and flat.

Draft at Capones. Poured a cloudy brown red body with no head. Aroma is apple cider, light wood. Flavor is apples, wood and an odd sourness to it. Very flat with no carbonation.

Draft. Hazy dirty apricot color with no head and minimal carbonation. Yeasty light soour aroma. Taste is that of the Grand Cru with apples and wood mixed in. Light body with sweet wood finish.

Poured a hazy cider color, with no head or lacing. Aroma of toffee, apple, and light caramel. Taste was apple, light vanilla, cardboard, wood, and the good ol’ grand cru in the background. Not sure what the problem was here, seemed a bit thin, watery, and not much flavor at all. All in all, it kinda reminded me of a very weak cider.

On tap. Poured a deep golden color with no head at all. Looked completly flat. Aromas of fruitiness, apples, bananas, light wood, light brandy and yeast. Tastes of fruitiness, light wood, and yeasty. Body not as flat as the pour would have lead me to guess it would have been. I’ll give props to FF for trying this!
