May 15, 2005 Medium amber with sticky, lasting lace - inviting aroma of belgian sugars, light fruits, mustiness and spice - a nice balance of tartness and sweetness in the flavor, with some light fruitiness, some apple, pear - lingering cloves and caramel - Middle of the road for the style, but still quite tasty.

May 1, 2005 (Bottle) Pours a dark amber body with a small off-white head. Complex aroma of fresh bread, caramel, cereal, perfume, citrus, and butterscotch. Malty base flavor with some caramel.

Apr 24, 2005 This one seem more in the mold of a brown ale than a dubbel to me. Brown appearance with a moderate head. Some grapes, caramel, and nutmeg in the flavor. Pretty good session beer if nothing else.

Apr 14, 2005 Bottle from Lou18. A nice clear brown color with a slight off-white head. Aroma is malty, slightly wine like. Medium bodied and smooth. Very nice malty taste. Slight alcohol warming sensation. A bit of hop bitterness towards the finish to balance things out well. Very nice.
