Sparkling clear, mohogany ale. Small, fizzy, khaki head. Quickly dissipating.
The nose is beefy with notes of horse blanket and leather, straw or hay. Nothing at all special.
Some brown sugar, caramel and chocolate notes in the flavor... maybe even dates.
Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Good attempt at a difficult and wonderful style, but this example falls way short of my expectations.
