Tasting notes aren’t so good on this one, as it was the last beer I had in a very long day of tasting. I can make out the part where it says "I love flying fish" but I’m not sure if it meant the brewery or the fish that were disguised as birds. So somehow, I’m going to play with the numbers so it comes up with the 4.0 that’s in my notebook.

Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber brown body with a light fruity aroma of raisin and banana. Light citrus with a moderate etoh flavor masked with sweet malt and a vinous thin body. decent.

Oct 7, 2008 Tap at the KSBF 08- Amber (Ruby)pour with good foam head. Slight sweet and spice notes. Light body and rather mellow for a Dubbel. Had better.
