Apr 23, 2007 Pours dark brown. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Mostly coffee in the flavor and a bit of chocolate. Palate is dry, a little bitter, and a bit thin/watery. Not bad, but just another average brew from FF.

Dark coloured and strong in alcohol. Slightly sweet on the palate. Some dryness and bitterness in a coffee flavour finish.

Oct 23, 2005 GABF. Listed as "Espresso Porter." Pours a jet black with a cream head. Aroma is cookie and chocolate. Flavor falls flat of the aroma, with flat chocolate and coffee not doing much to tickle the tongue. Palate is smooth. Not bad, but could be better.
