Now here is a great beer from Flying Fish. The aroma is very strong with a mocha/chocolate scent. The flavor is all expresso coffee. Had this in their tap room after the tour and it was simply marvelous here’s hoping they actually start bottling it.

creamy/pillowy tan head and dark brown body - copper at edges. light roasted malt, coffee nose. mouthfeel is watery, lively carbonation. mostly coffee flavor, some roasted malt too. kind of dry aftertaste. a little hop in the finish.

Cask at Andy’s...wow, tons of coffee aroma and a great tan head, flavor tasted like a malted coffee with cream and sugar. I couldn’t get enough of this stuff. Had a little bit of bitterness on the very tail end, but that hardly mattered, I would drink this over and over.

Cask, Grey Lodge: Coffee comes through in the end after a smooth porter makes it’s way into your belly. Score one for flying fish as this beer turned out nicely.

This is very much like coffee, but also beer. I love porters, and really loved this one. It was from a cask, so even better. Deep and dark, with a firm. creamy head, that is not going anywhere. The mouth feel was light to mid. Flavor has,of course coffee, but also roasted malts and some chcolate. It had a nice dry finish as well. Excellent!

This isn’t beer...it’s the best friggin’ coffee I’ve ever had. Utterly silky, yet roasty. Utterly bitter, yet creamy. The finest expresso without the caffeine jitters. Damn is this tasty. This is why I like porters.

Had this on cask at Andy's Pub. An ok Porter. Coffee and chocolate flavor. Finishes a little too watery and clean.

This was on cask. Dark brown with a nice lasting head. Very roasty like a stout. Very coffee like. enjoyable. I liked it. Interesting beer.
