The aroma is very strong with a mocha/chocolate scent. The flavor is all expresso coffee. Had this in their tap room after the tour and it was simply marvelous here’s hoping they actually start bottling it. MullMan (1086), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 10, 2005 Cask at Andy’s...wow, tons of coffee aroma and a great tan head, flavor tasted like a malted coffee with cream and sugar. I couldn’t get enough of this stuff. Had a little bit of bitterness on the very tail end, but that hardly mattered, I would drink this over and over. PWalk (337), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Score one for flying fish as this beer turned out nicely. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

I love porters, and really loved this one. It was from a cask, so even better. Deep and dark, with a firm. creamy head, that is not going anywhere. The mouth feel was light to mid. Flavor has,of course coffee, but also roasted malts and some chcolate. It had a nice dry finish as well. Excellent! Probiere (992), Iowa, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 16, 2004 This isn’t beer...it’s the best friggin’ coffee I’ve ever had. Utterly silky, yet roasty. Utterly bitter, yet creamy. The finest expresso without the caffeine jitters. Damn is this tasty. This is why I like porters. beerslayer (753), New Jersey, USA
