Mouth feel is very light, in part to it being out of a cask. White fluffy head. Coffee flavors balance well with the porter. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 12, 2004 Cask. Dark brown and murky with a nice brown head. Aroma of roasty malt and apples. Not my favorite, but it may be because of the cask having active yeast, the more I think about it. Flavor is smooth and sweet. Roasty like coffee, sweet like chocolate milk, I guess is the best way to describe it. Definitely an interesting brew, especially on cask. JFGrind (1354), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA

I had this beer with egajdzis who rated this right before me at 8am. This was a good one. Had a good coffee taste. Wasn't to overpowering. egajdzis (3636), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
