Nice from start to finish, really love this ESB, especially over the overly hoppy Redhook ESB. I’m drinkin these for awhile, they’re good. dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA

Medium bodied, flavors of slightly sweet malt. Finish is more bitter than expected, but not unpleasant. Solid offering. donrajin (233), Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 27, 2006 I thought this was a nice ESB and quite to style, but I tend to like the ESBs with more hop flavor. It has better balance than a typiclal ESB, but not the flavor of better ESBs such as 14er ESB and Brutal Bitter. kevin62 (267), New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | May 3, 2006 Bottle. Basically, this is an American version of a bitter, meaning more hops. The aroma is hopy, not floral or bitter but definitly hoppy. Body is light, color is light copper. Finishes with a nice bit of bittering. I would think that maybe the macro drinkers may not find this offensive. Overall, for its style I think its good.
