Commercial Description:
This ESB is a classic British extra special bitter made fresh with an American slant. A beautiful copper color with an amber head, classic style features six different malts, including imported Belgian malts, and three hop varieties. The rich malty start features caramel notes that develop into a smooth, pleasurable hop finish.

Clear copper with moderate lacing - woody aroma with a hint of bitterness - pretty average flavor, nothing special - actually, it kind of tastes like a so-so homebrewed ESB - nothing worth having more than once.

12 oz bottle. Clear burnished copper with a small lasting off-white creamy meringue...cherry-almond with wood and lime in the nose...smooth, creamy, moderately sweet body, a bitt watery...not much to comment on flavor-wise, some woody bitterness but overall its just pretty average...

On tap. Copper/amber color, with aromas of malt, fruit. Flavor is hops, malt, and some fruit. Another nice Flying Fish brew.

Deep copper color. Slightly hoppy with classic bitterness an ESB should have. Palate is very smooth. Very drinkable, perhaps weak.

This is another delicious beer. It has a very agreeable crispness. Very light in color but full in taste. Though the Extra Pale Ale is their signature beer this one definately offers more enjoyment.

Nice head, standard beer color with effervescently tart berry notes immediately followed by afterhoppiness. Decent enough product, particularly from a cask.

Draft at Silk City. Well made beer, just not much character and unmemorable. Given the choice, stick with Yards ESA.
