Jan 29, 2005 01.29.05 12oz bottle. Amber-brown pour; large, fading head. Looks like it should, I think. Aromas are biscuity, light grassiness, fresh bread; flavors incorporate these plus a big dose of caramel. Decent beer that doesn’t get boring, yet not too thrilling either.

Dec 8, 2004 Pretty good. I liked the bitterness of this beer. It reminded me of Sierra Nevada a little bit. Not bad at all.

Nov 21, 2004 This is a good esb - smooth creamy body full of caramel biscuity malts, herba/fruity aromas, good assertive hop edges and finish. Another solid beer from Flying Fish.

Nov 9, 2004 Bottle - thanks to slob. Pours clear copper with a creamy light tan head that lingers well and leaves nice lacing. Malty aroma, slightly fruity with light floral hoppiness. Bold malty flavor has nice tart notes and a brisk hop finish. Medium body, gentle carbonation. This could be a good session ale.

Oct 23, 2004 Poured a medium golden color with a small white head. Aromas and tastes of some malts and orange citrus. Smooth body. Drinkable (but nothing that really stands out).
