Commercial Description:
This ESB is a classic British extra special bitter made fresh with an American slant. A beautiful copper color with an amber head, classic style features six different malts, including imported Belgian malts, and three hop varieties. The rich malty start features caramel notes that develop into a smooth, pleasurable hop finish.

stronge bitter and hop taste. felt like a dubble, odd concidering it was only a 5.5% alcohol. had it right on tap at the brewery. not to bad but ive never had a ESB before this one so i have nothing to compare to.

Pours and amber body with a quickly descending head. Normal fruity aroma. The first thing you realize while drinking this beer is how thick-bodied it is. Then you wonder why it has the taste of a dubbel or european strong lager (I am not sure what that taste is, but I know those two varieties have it). Maybe it is the Belgian hops? It is kind of on the bitter side of things and a bunch of hops hop about. Interesting.

Clear gold with a good, white head. Both the malt and the hops were robust. Full mouth-feel. Nice lasting flavor with a mellow hop aftertaste. Very well balanced. A very good ESB

Nice aroma of citrus hops and a bready sweatness. Pours an amber color, with almost no head. Starts with a taste of toast, followed by citrus bitterness with a hint of sweetness. A very drinkable beer.

Golden-amber with a light caramel malt aroma plus a bit of citrusy hops. Taste was a nice malty-caramel flavor with just enough citrus hop sweetness. Better than expected for FF - much better than their Pale ale.

Pours a beautiful clear coppery color with a medium white head. Aroma of instant lemon tea powder. Taste is much like the aroma, pwdered lemon tea flavor with hints of various malts. Not bad.

Tap. Strong malt aroma with light sweet cherry tones. Reddish amber color with small head. Sweet malt and moderate piney hops flavor and high carbonation. Nicely blended. A nice easy drinking beer.

Pours a translucent golden amber with an average foamy off white head that left nice lacing. Aroma of some caramel malt, kind of bready with a light citrus hop profile. Flavor was well rounded with a light hop sweetness, some graines, cereal, bread and then some mellow citrus hop lemony flavor. Light bitterness. A well made ESB, a style I’m not a huge fan of but that I can appreciate as a well rounded session beer.
