Bright aroma with lots and lots of grapefuit, american hops, and just a bit of bubblegum sweetness. Mouthfeel a little prickly, lots of carbonation. The initial bite on the tongue is a bit much, and covers everything up at first. Very tangy with bitter grapefruit, lots of peppery alcohol. Hops are there, but you really have to look for them. Finish is basicaly absent, the flavor progression never makes it to the back of the tongue. Should have let this one sit for a while longer. kopher (305), New York, USA

this is basically just a trippel with some extra hops. very nice.
aroma is grassy, green apples and yeast, not much citrus. very dry flavor and texture, also with green apples, a bit of spice, and a long bitter finish. PhillyHomeBrew (176), Forest Hills, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2009 Golden color, a little darker than Belgian tripels. The aroma is fairly typical yeasty tripel aroma with a hint of orange peel. That is pretty much all I got, but my nose was stuffed a bit. The falvor is a lot more citrusy than expected, with less of the honey tripel flavors. There is a little bit of the burnt caramel aftertaste, similar to the caramel flavor in Belgians. Dan at The Bruery anniversary party. it’s a bit of a subdued triple, not terrible big on the flavors; it’s very approachable. TURDFERGUSON (1604), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA

Not usually a big fan of this hybrid style, but thought this one was pretty good. pineypower (1102), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 30, 2009 Pours out a somewhat cloudy golden color with a moderate slightly off white head. Yeast, citrus, spice and a slight grassy note on the nose. Taste is not as hoppy as some previous raters have found, obviously they’ve died out a bit in this bottle. Taste is of light citrus, yeast, some earthy and grassy notes and even some subtle fruit going on in there too, dry finish. Overall rather interesting and a pretty decent offering from the guys in Cherry Hill. emacgee (1891), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 30, 2009 Pours a hazy gold with a one finger off white head. The nose is earthy, spicy, yeasty, some phenolic character, tad fruity. Flavor is sweet, earthy yeasty character, spicy, bitter hop bite, more of an American feel for sure. Palate is mildly bitter with some spicy character from the yeast. ucusty (1900), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
