Commercial Description:
An original American pale ale, our XPA highlights the subtle, sophisticated flavors and aromas of our Midwestern two-row malt and imported aromatic and Munich malts. Washington-grown Mt. Hood and Fuggles hops create an extremely balanced beer with a beautiful straw color.

Re-rate, Oct 07: Corny and cheap tasting, no real hop presence, contrary to my novice earlier rating. Snore fest here. Original rating: I liked this light and somewhat hoppy beer. Poured a golden cloudy color with minimal head and lacing. Aroma was simple and average, but the flavor was crisp and clean with a pleasant touch of hops. Mouthfeel was nicely carbonated and light. Either hops are growing on me, or Flying Fish did something unique here. A nice summertime beer.

This was just horrible. On tap. Pale gold, very little head. Almost no aroma, what there was was soap maybe. Flavor was sour, watery, and not hoppy. Just awful. Reminded me of a Rolling Rock

2006 Bottle. I AM a fan of pale ale’s but I am not a fan of this one. It seems as though it is missing something or things (not enough hops?). Anyway the aroma is barely there and doesn’t have an appeal to it. It looks to almost too pale as though it is a pilsner. Flavor is only decent and the palate is a little odd. I do not recommend this one. I do recommend their IPA though.

On draft with Stegosaurus at Just Sports. Pours hazy yellow\golden with an off-white head. Aroma of fruit, citrus, sweet malts. Flavor is sweet, citrus, fruit. Good body, decent brew.

On tap. Not much to it. Gold pour with light head, bready nose, and an unassuming flavor.

On tap - Light golden color with not much head. Yeasty aroma. Very light tasting. A hint of fruity sweetness but not much in the flavor department.
