on tap. Pours a pale golden with a medium head. Aroma is slightley fruity, bready, with malt showing through more than hops. Taste is the same, sweet, somewhat fruity, mildy citrusy. a bit thin and watery, with a mild bitter finish

hazy yellow with off white head. a little fruity but thin, not too interesting.

On tap. Poured a medium and clear golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of fruits and maybe some flowers. Tastes of the same. On the sweet side. Thinner body. Not much really going on with this one.

"Very nice summer beer. Pour cloudy golden color with small head, didn’t leave much lacing on the glass either. Had a nice refreshing taste to it with wasn’t over run with hop flavor. Had a nice light refreshing mouthfeel to it. Very well done flying fish."

Perhaps the bottle I had was not properly cared for before it reached me. The beer was not quite skunked, but certainly a stale tasting ale with weak hopping. I could not bring myself to finish this bottle. One of the saddest versions of the APA on the market.

bottle. aroma is dirty shoe hops, slight overripe fruit. Very light brown, almost no head. leathery fruity taste. watery palate. Bleah. I’d just as soon have a cheap macro crap. Overrated.

Pours a pretty, full copper color that has just a hint of haze to it. The head is frothy, a finger thick and a pale tan colored head. The aroma is predominantly hoppy with a light citrus note dominating; the citrus is a combination of grapefruity and lemons.

The taste is only lightly sweet, and has a nice sharp hop character that carries throughout the beer. The hops character has notes of orange peel, a hint of tangerine, and a light dusting of herbal-pine. The malt character here is pretty subdued, and straight forward; there is a soft sweet grain note that has a bit of caramel. This beer is quite light on the palate, actually it is approaching being to thin. There is also a slightly off-putting sweet saccharine note here that just does not jive with the rest of the beer. In the end there is nothing offensive about this beer, but it just does not tickle my fancy.

For an APA, I’d like a little more hops bite....this is almost all malt. Aroma is a little yeasty, not unpleasant. Taste is nothing special....mostly grainy.
