Still pours with an over-exuberant head. Strange looking grainy stuff at the bottom of the glass and stuck to the sides of the glass. Fairly pleasant citric hop aroma, fairly orangey. Thin bodied. Overcarbonated. A touch sour in finish. Not a fan. skisangelo (60), Collingswood, New Jersey, USA

This is their signature beer a nice crisp easy drinking beer. Call me biased but this is a enjoyable beer to be shared with friends. CharlesDarwin (1849), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2005 Nice frothy head, but some uneveness. Slighly diminishing. Hazy orange-tinged golden amber pour. Some lacing. Fresh bread and yeast dominate aroma, but a little citrus and pine waft in. Pretty bland, doesn’t really speak strongly of either malt or hops, but instead of a flat bread and hints of dried apricot. Very smooth and not too watery, nice and evenly viscous on the palate. Extremely drinkable, but not notably amazing. jeffc666 (1895), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 8, 2005 Amber with a golden hue small white head that laces the glace nicely. The aroma is medium sweet pear, grassy earthy hops, and not much else. The flavor is quite bready with notes of sweet pear and lightly bitter earthy hops. Body is thin and watery. Very forgettable. Some interesting clementine notes come out as it warms but nothing else. gsmitty80 (646), Washington DC, USA

The hops showe through nicely and the color and lacing are strong. I liked this beer a great deal. Sturgess (173), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

In my opinion, this surpasses Bass Ale as my favorite pale. This is quite tasty and goes downs mooth with an interesting mix of tastes in the bight. I rated this high because it has incredible smoothness and flavor. jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 30, 2004 Clear orange-gold with a small, quickly fading white head. Aroma of sweet malt and citrus. Taste is malty sweet with notes of citrus/lemon, light caramel and lightly floral hops. Not much bitterness, grassy finish. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad but boring.
