Commercial Description:
An original American pale ale, our XPA highlights the subtle, sophisticated flavors and aromas of our Midwestern two-row malt and imported aromatic and Munich malts. Washington-grown Mt. Hood and Fuggles hops create an extremely balanced beer with a beautiful straw color.

This one didn't want to pour out like a real beerDidn't keep for s*it!).Just a foamy mistake.Smelt old like they throw two duds in all of the gift set samplers cause the ESB was the same deal foamfest 2002- 2003.BOO(I'm actually being nice considering my score for budweiser, coors ect.)this one could be alright? if freshly presented?cause i'd rather drink "fresh garbage" than what these two bummer beers mentioned became.

Decent level of malts in the nose. Light hops with a little bit of sourness. Clear amber gold w/light white foamy head that laces. Medium-heavy carb with watery-thick body. Taste is light malty with good amount of hops bitterness. Has American wheat finish, sort of bitter. Kind of refreshing, light bitter after. Decent but not remarkable.

Golden-amber; slightly musty aroma with English hops, pear and light caramel. Slightly buttery palate, with a touch of tangerine. Surprisingly lifeless - I normally dig this brewery's stuff.

Spicey, hoppy aroma, amber, with a small vanilla head. Malt and hops, some good bitterness. Fair.

Clear copper w/ beige head. Malty nose. Medium body. Caramel & brown sugar flavour. Very little hops. Quite boring.

This beer is advertised as "balanced" and it seems accurate. It is a nice balance of sweet, fruit and bitter. All of this makes for a very nice drinking beer. Smooth and crisp. Think it is time for another!
