The aroma was slightly hoppy and slightly citrus. The flavor was smooth and easy drinking with faint character of hops and citrus. Overall, an mass consumption beer with not much after taste. badnloose (99), North Hollywood, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Pours smoothly and has the normal look of a Pale Ale. Light levels of hops in aroma and taste. Nothing bad about it per se, but nothing extraordinary of any note. smjohnst (203), , Pennsylvania, USA

Flying Fish makes very good beer but this one does not shine. phillynitro (3), , Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 5, 2008 It was ok nothing I would buy again but would drink again. First Impression: A pretty average beer, especially when you are expecting something of a craft variety. Aroma was dulled due to chills, but muted even after warming up. Visuals were a pale copper with an okay off white head. Taste was better than an American pilsener, but not by much. Palate was thin and simple. Second Impression - Not bad. Not a great beer but probably still the best they have to offer at Lawrence Grill.

Intial hop flavor is generous but mellows out in the finish. Wasn’t sure if I would like it, but I was pleasantly surprised. Damico (182), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jun 3, 2008 This extra pale ale has a beautiful straw yellow color and smooth poor. Because it is extra pale, you lose that strong hop flavor for a smooth finish that anyone with a distate for IPAs (like my girlfriend Jeannine) couldn’t resist. It is delicious on tap at Citizens Bank Park for a fantastic Phillies Game.
