Bottle->juice glass (tasting@brewery): Pours a spare, white, and diminishing head that exhibits spare lacing atop of a clear, yellow body. Aroma is of grain with average ’herb-ish’ hops and yeast that smells of dough with some grape-ishness in there as well. The body is light, the texture is silck, the carbo is flat, and the finish is astringent. The duration is long and is mildly acidic and bitter. Another surprising pale ale that I find to be enjoyable--definitely a warm weather beer.

Nice pour with a golden color and a nice head upon pour from bottle. Head quickly settles. The aroma has a floral nose. The taste is sweet as is the aftertaste. Not very hoppy for a pale ale.

Had this one bottled, thanks Jerry and Gina! Clear, medium orange pour, with a thin, slowly dissipating head that laced out nicely. Slightly fruity nose, maybe pineapple or something similar, and a bit of rosy hoppiness that is not overwhelming. Not much bitterness here. Actually quite balanced, almost too sweet for the style. Apple, grape, sweet bready malts and a touch of floral hoppiness. Milky mouthfeel. This is an odd APA but very sessionable.

I wasn’t a fan of this one... I had it on tap at a local bar. The aroma was very slight of malts and the appearance was golden with a small white head that quickly went away. The palate was average the taste was lacking. I’ve heard good things about this company but was disappointed with this one. I’ll still give their other beers a chance.

Pours a clear golden orange color with a small fizzy white head that only lasted a couple seconds. A fruity hop aroma with peach and citrus. The strongest aroma is a strange cardboard/plastic smell. Maybe it is just the hops are a little weak? I’m not sure. Very mild taste. Some citrus bitterness and pilsner character. The overpowering plastic nose really just sort of ruins it for me. Has that same character in the aftertaste. Hopefully, this is just a bad bottle.

THOUGHTS: A Christmas gift from my girlfriend’s parents. Nothing bad about this beer, just very weak all around. I probably wouldn’t have this again. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, medium yellow with a small fizzy, white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was moderate to heavy grain and a less caramel malt along with light, grassy hops. Also lemony. The initial flavor was light to moderate sweetness and light acidity, while the finish was moderate sweetness and light bitterness with a short to average duration. The flavor wasn’t bad, just not very strong. There was a lot of grain in the flavor with some lemon and grassy hops toward the finish. The light body was watery with fizzy carbonation and a lightly astringent finish.

May 2007 - Beer pours deep urine yellow, clear, very little head or lacing. Weak aroma of metallic spoiled fruit. The flavor was just bad...sweet pilsner like malts with a rotten fruit flavor underneath. Carbonated, but still had an oil-like slickness that kept the foul flavor on my tongue longer. Just not very good at all.

Pours a clear gold-ish. Nose is like rotting funk. Flavor is seriously lacking. The first swig I got, I almost lost it and just spit it out. Basically I can’t finish this because the aftertaste is so nasty. The feel is nice with a good level of carbonation, but who cares. If it doesn’t taste good, what does it matter??
