rudolf (1734), Buffalo, New York, USA Aug 6, 2004 Slightly yeasty alcoholic aroma - a little citrus, some toasty malt. Flavor is citrus at the front of the tounge, then a dry hoppiness. Sweet finish. Meh. willblake (2160), Belcamp, Maryland, USA Aug 6, 2004 08.05.04 12oz bottle. I’ve had lots of this this summer. Pours a clear golden yellow with average, fading head. Aromas are light, citrus, some spice. Palate is wet and refreshing, more spice, reminds of a wit. Finishes on a sour note, acidic, refreshing. A quaffable summer beer, but nothing amazing. PWalk (337), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 3, 2004 A nice light fruity beer that makes me think it’s more of a wit than a true saison. Very citrusy on the palate but suffers a little at the nose. Smooth finish leaving an almost tart after taste. dthmtldgn (32), barrington, New Jersey, USA Jul 28, 2004 very fruity beer. i love this stuff. this is just what i look for in a beer. very easy, drinkable ale. just not alcoholic enough! beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA Jul 28, 2004 On tap at the Oregon Brewers Festival 04. Pours a light orange/golden color with a faint white head. Aroma has a floral hop smell and a bit spicy. Taste is nicely balanced, light on the hop side, citrusy with a medium bitterness at the end. This brew had a thin mouthfeel and was kinda watery. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA Jul 19, 2004 Something went wrong somewhere. Mild farmy saison-esque smell. Sweetish malts, mild floral hops. Too peppery and spicy, not yeasty enough. This was like a pepper beer with little sweetness to redeem it. Yikes. Jine (889), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Jul 14, 2004 On tap at local bar. Perfect for a summer’s day like today was EtownEraser (63), New Jersey, USA Jul 11, 2004 Draft. Pale hazy yellow, average head. weak citrus aroma. Lemon on the palate, a bit sweet, light bodied. A refreshing summer brew
