Little bit fruity in the aroma and flavour, some pleasant hoppiness and bitterness throughout but overall a bit bland and light. Nice refreshing beer for the summer but unexciting otherwise. Taste was light, floral and some hops with a slight sour aftertaste, almost lemony or lime. Orange and grapefruit on the tongue, along with mild spice. Mild bitter finish, but watery. an ok saison. Color was golden-yellow. Poured with a nice white head and had a good lacing. Taseted a bit citrusy, though fresh. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Dry finish. (Rating before 5/2/6/3/12 - 2.8) RERATE NJ August 2006- obviosly I like it a bit better this time - didn*t get toffe in the nose. More an light hops nose and a refreshing kind of rapsberry taste.
