May 1, 2004 Updated: Sep 7, 2006Pale yellow, no head. Hoppy and toffee nose. Dry and sharp but nothing special. (Rating before 5/2/6/3/12 - 2.8) RERATE NJ August 2006- obviosly I like it a bit better this time - didn*t get toffe in the nose. More an light hops nose and a refreshing kind of rapsberry taste.

Apr 20, 2004 Gold, puffy white head with nice lacing. Nose grassy and spicy. Flavor is fruity and a bit yeasty, herbal and grassy. Not particularly saison-ish, but still not bad.

Apr 18, 2004 Updated: Aug 11, 2006Cloudy golden color with a small white head, some lacing. Sweet, fruity, slightly spicy aroma. Very nice citrus taste, some sweetness. Mouthfeel was not all that spectacular... but this was not bad.

Apr 14, 2004 Very lightly hazed straw body topped by large white head. Aroma is medium sweet, apple, herbal. Taste is light sweet, herbal, cereal, light grassy, finishing herbal. Light body.

Apr 3, 2004 On draft at the Standard Tap. I remember this being a very refreshing herby brew, but am now unimpressed. Pale straw colored pint with no head and no lace. Nothing remarkable, just a well made average brew.

Jan 27, 2004 (Draught) Pours a hazy yellow color with a medium-sized white head. Had a watery mouthfeel. Had flavors of grass, hops, and yeast.

Dec 29, 2003 color is hazy light golden with a moderate white head, not long-lived though. aroma is very sweet/candy-ish. kind of perfumey like a candle. flavor is pretty fruity, not that sweet, in fact, it's fairly tart. little citrus, and you can taste the wheat (at least that's what i think it is).

Dec 20, 2003 Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Nice sweet aroma with hints of grass, mushrooms, hops and yeast. Light-bodied; Sweet taste with some mustyness and yeast characteristics. Aftertaste clean and mild, not much else! Overall, not too great, lacking in many qualities and below expectation. I bought this twelve ounce bottle from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. and sampled it on 19-December-2003.
