cazort (413), Newark, Delaware, USA May 10, 2009 (Bottle) A good, if somewhat unremarkable beer. I am never quite sure what to expect from beers marketed as "summer ales" and I tend to be disappointed in them. This beer was less malty and more hoppy. I did not really notice any influence of the wheat--and thankfully no sourness. I’ve had more or less good experiences with Flying Fish Brewing Co. but in my opinion, this is not among their best beers. yobdoog (1420), Woodridge NY, New York, USA Apr 10, 2009 Extremely fresh. Bottles two weeks ago. Crisp and light with a little hops that linger a bit. Sweet light malt taste upfront. A little grassy spice taste that bothers me a bit. A little like dirt and leaves and a mixture of spices. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Mar 27, 2009 My friend loves this shit. Good for hot summer days. Light and refreshing. Some hop flavor. Mostly water. Good replacement. ROGUE (621), Newark, Delaware, USA Jan 7, 2009 12oz bottle. Poured out a nice golden color with a big lacing off white head. The nose offered floral hops, some citrus, and tineiest amount of spice, nearly nonexistent. This drinks very easy, again with floral hops leading the way, some bitterness, tiny amount of malt, and not much else. A crisp mouthfeel, and some bitter hops lingering on the palate.
pineypower (1076), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA Dec 16, 2008 Bottle found in the fridge. Pours out a hazy light golden color with a moderate white head, well carbonated. Aroma of some grassy and citrus hops with slight fruit. Taste is refreshing, citrus and grassy notes in the flavor with some underlying earthy tones and maybe even some fruit. Definitely drinkable. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA Nov 2, 2008 Nice spices, slightly fruity. Crisp. Overal, however, watery. Lacks body. theisti (1638), Leawood, Kansas, USA Oct 31, 2008 12 oz bottle courtesy of Thaichile. Pour is hazed straw golden with a pretty two inch white head. Fine carbonation bubbles streaming their way to the top. Aroma of earthy herbal maltiness and some soft citrus notes. Taste is grainy earthiness, melding into a light sweetness in the middle, and a crisp citric bitterness to the dry finish. Floral notes are present. Palate feels unfiltered, drinkable and satisfying. Quite a bit of character in this one, I enjoyed it. Thanks Mark!
