Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

Cloudy yellow color with a big white head. Aroma of spice, hops, and wheat. Taste is the same. A bit too mild for the style.

Draft. Pours gold with a thin white head. Fruity and tart aroma with lightly sour apple and earth. Medium body. Flavor has a very basic malt profile, also grass, earth, and a bit of fruity sourness. Not bad, drinkable.

On draft at Penn Valley Pub. Poured clear gold with white head. Scant lacing. Corny nose. By and large tasteless. Slightly wheaty and yeasty. Crisp.

I was not too fond of this beer. The smell was a nice hoppy smell, with a bit of hop. The appearance was a large, creamy white head with a golden tone. The flavor just was not good... Better palate then most "summer beers" but I was a fan of the ’Spicy Hop’.

It’s a excellent summer time drinkable ale. Has a excellent color and aroma. A little hint of hops in each taste.

Nice golden color. A light and refreshing combination of wheat and malt. Nice hoppy finish. Extremely refreshing for a beer with this kind of flavor.

Draft->plastic cup (tasting@brewery): Pours a huge, frothy head that exhibits good lacing atop of a yellow body. Aroma is of grain, celery, sweat, and vegetables. The body is medium, sticky texture, average carbonation with an astringent finish. The flavor is average, lightly sweet, acidic, and bitter with a finish of vinegar. Not a favorite of mine, but this beer is an OK drink, especially if you’re handed one at a party.

July 2007 - Golden color, crystal clear, very little head and a smidge of lacing. Aroma of dirty sweatsocks. Flavor was musty and funky...the aforementioned sweatsocks coming to mind. Almost no fruity sweetness. Not very good.
