Flying Fish Farmhouse Summer Ale

Not a huge fan of the summer ales anyway, but i have had much better. Better off of the tap than bottle. Dont think i’ll ever purchase this beer again.

light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, this beer is great off the tap. perfect while at a baseball game.

one of the better summer ales around. not to much hoppes for a summer ale but still very nice. very smooth with a nice finish, perfect for summer events.

Pours a straw yellowwith a small white head. Aroma of toasted grains and some light hops. Flavor of light malts and some wheat with a slightly bitter finish

Clear golden-yellow body with a clean sudsy white head. Lightly aromatic nose of pear-like esters and pale doughy malt. Flavor is semi-dry with light tartness and gentle spicy bitterness. Light-bodied palate. Much too clean to be a world class saison in the modern sense, but a decent, refreshing session beer with some modestly pleasing character.

Draft. Poured a hazy, straw color, with a fairly large off-white head. Aroma of wheat, spice and yeast. flavor is primarily yeast and wheat; earthy undertones with fruit, herbs, and mild hops. Thin bodied. Refreshing, but nothing spectacular.

Poured in to my La Chouffe glass. Bright straw yellow with a billowing white head. Left behind a nice layer of lace. The aroma has a sort of a peachy tone, with lots of spicy hops. Sort of perfume flavor and quite bitte. Very dry. Its not really all that good of a saison, but I surely drink it in a pinch.

A good summer ale. Ssm Adams makes a good one, this one, isn’t as good as it, but It is good indeed still. Great for, take a guess...a summers day or night.
