Old notes (2000: Beige with a spicy, yeasty-fruity aroma, the carbonation is spritzy but forceful, and the palate showing the malty-yeasty-spicy combination of a grisette, but lighter in body. 7 3 6 3 14 = 3.3

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2005 Very clear (duh) golden, gentle white top. Light straw and hay nose, very light, slightly sour, but globally well done, just subdued and sweeter than most. Mellow noble hops, grainy cerealic malts and banana yeastiness pair together to hint at more traditional saison. The palate confirms it will remain an attempt. Initially very sweet, floral, but a good dryness tries to kick in, the yeast seems to stop it a bit short, trying to boast its bready flavours, sour and bubblegum like. Not very complex, fairly light bodied and tingling bubbles on the tongue. Decent try. hopdog (5550), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2004 Poured a light yellow with a small white head. Light grassy and citrus aromas and tastes. Thinner body. Light refreshing beer. Not really my favorite style (light on the aroma and tastes). hopscotch (5474), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 20, 2003 Sparkling clear, very light, straw-colored beer. The quickly disappearing head leaves fair lacework.
A mild brew in both aroma and flavor. A touch buttery with hints of butterscotch and grass. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
Call it a Saison if you like, but to me it tastes and feels like any other mild British style brew. Absolutely not spectacular. Refreshing, though. Brewed to be enjoyed during the hot Summer months. bu11zeye (5442), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Tap in July 2008: Pours a transparent deep golden with a thin coating of white head. Aroma of lightly toasted grainy malts and some earthy European hops. Body starts about average for the style with some effervescent carbonation and mild sweetness drying out toward a more bitter, slightly earthy finish. Seems more of a Vienna than a farmhouse ale, but pretty drinkable. jcwattsrugger (5250), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
