Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

White foamy head, pale light color. Aroma, sour. Taste, well this might as well be a bottle of heinekin.

Thanks to Immy. From bottle, pours a copper/straw with fluffy white head and good lacing. Nose reminds me of a good lager, with spices and french vanilla. Flavors follows nose with a light bitter finish. Refreshing.

Not a big fan of summer ales, but this one seems quite solid.

This is easily flying fish’ best seasonal offering throughout the year. Light, refreshing psuedo-saison makes a good choice for the summer. It is what it is. If you are looking for an inaccessable hard to find saison that is not going to satisfy the masses, look elsewhere.

(Bottle) A good, if somewhat unremarkable beer. I am never quite sure what to expect from beers marketed as "summer ales" and I tend to be disappointed in them. This beer was less malty and more hoppy. I did not really notice any influence of the wheat--and thankfully no sourness. I’ve had more or less good experiences with Flying Fish Brewing Co. but in my opinion, this is not among their best beers.

12oz. Wow, what a disappointment from one of my favorite styles. Lightly filtered? yeah right, this is completely clear bodied and as such carries no distinctive properties of the style. Drinks more like a domestic than a saison. Good riddance.

My friend loves this shit. Good for hot summer days. Light and refreshing. Some hop flavor. Mostly water. Good replacement.

A light typical summer ale. It was smooth. I don’t like this style of light ales, and thus the rating.
