Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

A good summer ale. Ssm Adams makes a good one, this one, isn’t as good as it, but It is good indeed still. Great for, take a guess...a summers day or night.

Pours a golden color....actually looked lighter at the outset....hadn’t noticed that before... Small head that had just a hint of lacing. Aroma is of straw/grasss..... nothing special there. Taste has hints of hops and just a little citrus at the end. I could see drinking a crisp ale like this on a summer day.

More hops than I was expecting (which is a good thing). Nice refreshing beer. I wouldn't buy it regularly but it's all they had at the tiki bar at the pool I was at. It did it's job.

Had this on tap at Antone’s. It was served in a shaker pint glass. Kind of ruins the affect. Since the name says Farmhouse, I had expected a typical saison. I didn;t get it. Not much in the way of a typical saison aroma - not much yeast, or grass, or spiceness. I read one review that called in a blond ale. Kind of a plain beer. Not a good example of a saison, but it is a beer one could drink during a summer afternoon.

Draft->plastic cup (tasting@brewery): Pours a huge, frothy head that exhibits good lacing atop of a yellow body. Aroma is of grain, celery, sweat, and vegetables. The body is medium, sticky texture, average carbonation with an astringent finish. The flavor is average, lightly sweet, acidic, and bitter with a finish of vinegar. Not a favorite of mine, but this beer is an OK drink, especially if you’re handed one at a party.

This was probably the best summer ale that I have tasted. It had a nice color to it and didn’t lack on flavor like alot of them. Flying fish puts out good stuff.

I was not too fond of this beer. The smell was a nice hoppy smell, with a bit of hop. The appearance was a large, creamy white head with a golden tone. The flavor just was not good... Better palate then most "summer beers" but I was a fan of the ’Spicy Hop’.
