Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

Drinkable, I found it to be fair on the malt side and some hops noticeable. Not my favorite, but then neither is Bud.

Fresh fruity hops aroma with light malts. Pale amber clear with thin white head. Medium body with light-medium carbonation. Starts with malt, light acidity, and dry bitterness. Maintains fruity acidity and bitterness throughout. Good citrusy hops. Crisp beer. Nice dry after.

Yikes - what is going on here? Not much. Light nose, pale gold color and a flat head. Orange malt with a hop tinge. Refreshing, maybe, but off overall.

Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Nice sweet aroma with hints of grass, mushrooms, hops and yeast. Light-bodied; Sweet taste with some mustyness and yeast characteristics. Aftertaste clean and mild, not much else! Overall, not too great, lacking in many qualities and below expectation. I bought this twelve ounce bottle from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. and sampled it on 19-December-2003.

12oz bottle via trade with Lou18 - Thanks Lou! Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of grass and a bit of spice. Flavor is malty some yeast and a touch of spice. A bit of grassy hops finish this off. Palate is light and somewhat watery. Decent for a summer thirst quencher.

Pale yellow, no head. Hoppy and toffee nose. Dry and sharp but nothing special. (Rating before 5/2/6/3/12 - 2.8) RERATE NJ August 2006- obviosly I like it a bit better this time - didn*t get toffe in the nose. More an light hops nose and a refreshing kind of rapsberry taste.

Bottle: Vibrant yellow, clear, small to medium white fizzy head, spotty lacing, moderate carbonation.   Soft spiced grassy nose, not getting much floral aspect at all.   Lightly spiced, malty, but otherwise more like a spicy full-bodied Pilsner than a Saison.  Decent body, mediocre mouthfeel.   Slightly dry finish.   Drinkable, but not terribley interesting.   Thanks for the freebie Jeff!

Just didn’t do much for me, and I have no idea why I returned to FF. Poured pretty dark color for a "farmhouse ale," and had nothing farmhouse-like about it. Just another amber ale with a mild showing in the hop category, somewhat like an ESB. Carmel malts dominated, but it had a slightly bitter punch at the end. I think they missed the mark entirely on this style.
