Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

Tap at NJ Fest, 04. Golden, clear, white head. Decent, light, hoppy crisp brew for quaffing on a Summer’s day.

12 oz bottle from Joe Canals. Poured a cloudy golden orange with a huge bright white fluffy head. Aroma of spice, pepper, corriander, wheat and citrus. Harshly carbonated and a thinner watery body made this one unpleasant, well that and the overwhelmingly lack of taste. Blah Ive had better tasting macros.

Extremely fresh. Bottles two weeks ago. Crisp and light with a little hops that linger a bit. Sweet light malt taste upfront. A little grassy spice taste that bothers me a bit. A little like dirt and leaves and a mixture of spices.

Slightly speckled pale golden color. The nose is plastickey with some light fruit and a fairly big hoppiness. The body is quite hoppy for the style with a nice fruitiness with plastic coming through. A spritzy beginning moves into the middle with citrus and resiny wood notes. Finishes smooth with a resiny hoppiness. Not much of a saison I must say, more of a hoppy blonde or something.

Pours a clear yellow golden color with a small white head. Wheaty aroma with hints of grains and weak malts. Taste is wheaty and grainy with a slight spicy finish. Not a bad hot day brew, but nothing special.

color is hazy light golden with a moderate white head, not long-lived though. aroma is very sweet/candy-ish. kind of perfumey like a candle. flavor is pretty fruity, not that sweet, in fact, it's fairly tart. little citrus, and you can taste the wheat (at least that's what i think it is).

Had this on tap at GABF 2009. This is really more of an American blond ale IMO. It’s very good for that style but not so great for a saison, so I’ll rate it as a hybrid of sorts. Pours a clear golden color with a fluffy white head and decent lacing. Aroma is wheat, citrus, light spice, and grain. Flavor is wheat, pale malt, grain, citrus, and light fruits. Palate is clean and crisp with fairly light body and medium carbonation. Drinkability is high since this is so light with somewhat mild flavors. Finally, let me say it again: if you’re looking for a true-to-style saison, this is not the beer for you. If you just mowed the lawn on a 90 degree day, sure, it’ll work.
