Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

Not a big fan of summer ales, but this one seems quite solid.

Flying Fish beers run the spectrum from light to dark. A good ’lawn-mower’ beer.

Tap in July 2008: Pours a transparent deep golden with a thin coating of white head. Aroma of lightly toasted grainy malts and some earthy European hops. Body starts about average for the style with some effervescent carbonation and mild sweetness drying out toward a more bitter, slightly earthy finish. Seems more of a Vienna than a farmhouse ale, but pretty drinkable.

The Lure:
White pepper spiciness flourishes over the straw and yeasty bite. Attractive grassy hops mingle within, as does lactic acidity.

The Festivities:
Green, grassy hops and feeble malt husks benefit from a smooth, non-obtrusive mouthfeel. Finish is dry and somewhat watery, as the flavors and body slowly vanish from the senses. Good, but entirely forgettable.

Transcendence:
Apparently, this rustic farmhouse has been renovated with stainless steel products.

Pours clear amber with a fluffy white head that fades to a thin layer. Aroma is subtle and of apple/pear, butter, a very very mild barnyard. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Not bad just very mild and uncomplicated for a saison.

Pretty good brew here... not great but good. Flying Fish doesn’t usually blow me away and... this doesn’t either.

Pours a golden color....actually looked lighter at the outset....hadn’t noticed that before... Small head that had just a hint of lacing. Aroma is of straw/grasss..... nothing special there. Taste has hints of hops and just a little citrus at the end. I could see drinking a crisp ale like this on a summer day.

12oz bottle via trade with Lou18 - Thanks Lou! Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of grass and a bit of spice. Flavor is malty some yeast and a touch of spice. A bit of grassy hops finish this off. Palate is light and somewhat watery. Decent for a summer thirst quencher.
